Hi, I'm Noell Hammer, Founder of
The Art Without Boundaries Foundation

In 2000, as Executive Director of a small non-profit in Ohio, I accidently stumbled on a process of painting with Alzheimer's patients that produced amazing results. We began using the painting that were produced as a fundraiser and raised over 100K in three years.

Building the dream
We began to recruit and train artists. But although we found that we could quickly teach the therapy process, getting the chapters started was another matter.

The artists we trained were talented and did well with the therapy, but didn't have sales experience, or more to the point, the thick skin it takes to get accounts. It took another year to come up with a workable marketing/fundraising plan that provides a substantial income and still allows time for family and friends.

Our Mission:

Improve the quality of life for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other related disorders by providing MnemeTherapy
to healthcare organizations and private individuals at no cost.

That's where you come in.
Finding the unique blend of artist and sales person is not easy, so we broadened our search to experienced sales people who will hire talented artists.

The page you just came from generally eliminates everyone who isn't ready to give up a steady paycheck or who wants to get rich quick.

Here's the best part.
The Foundation's mission is to help you start the chapter at no cost to you, except your time.

If you've read this far, you have one or more of the following characteristics:

That's good. We want to answer all your questions. We'll take it one step at a time.

Interested? Next step, review our Marketing Plan, then find out how you can start a chapter with no investment.

A Chapter Closed
Our small chapter didn't fit the National criteria and the office was closed. At the time, I was devastated, but after my husband was transferred to Florida, I realized that since the program was abandoned, I would be able to continue to do the process as a private practice. The positive results increase and I began receiving so many requests to teach it, that we incorporated AWBF in 2005 to give grants to artists to be certified in what I came to call MnemeTherapy.
These are painting by individuals with Alzheimer's disease or other related disorders who have never painted before. In addition to the amazing paintings produced during this therapy, elder regain not only dignity, but key life skills such as memory, speech and mobilty.
